West Coast Wilderness Lodge Resort is an undiscovered jewel on the west coast of Canada. Located on the northern tip of the Sunshine Coast, 145km northwest of Vancouver, the lodge is tucked amidst cedars and firs, with spectacular views of the Pacific Coast. The lodge offers fine dining, accommodations and adventures in the wild.During the winter of 2006-07 our accommodations were redesigned. Building on recommendations from past guests we remodeled and enlarged our rooms, expanded our ensuites and added private balconies. In July of 2007 The Vancouver Sun ran a special on "Treasures of B.C." the writer for the paper describes our lodge as "the best value lodge in B.C". The lodge consists of 20 rooms. There are ten spacious suites each featuring a king-size bed with lovely down duvets, window-side seating area, tiled ensuites and private balcony. There are ten standard well appointed rooms that have queen or king bed and private balconies. Choose between forest or ocean views.Kayaking tours leave daily from the lodge and are just a few of the activities offered. Wildlife tours and marine excursions, such as the Princess Louisa Inlet Tour, take you to locations where the only sounds you hear come from the natural world that surrounds you. For the more adventurous fly into a mountain lake for a canoe trip, or take a helicopter to a mountain top and hike in the alpine.Whether you are a single traveler or organizing an adventure for 50 the staff at the lodge will help make your stay happen. To reach the lodge you can travel by various different means, by car and ferry from Vancouver (3 hours), and flying from Vancouver (40mins), Whistler (40mins) and Seattle (1.5 hours).
